July's installment of Third Thursday is all about bike love, as the Minneapolis Institute of Arts will celebrate all things cycling with a variety of activities. Folks who arrive via two wheels will be ushered through the museum doors into Target Park, where free valet parking will be available. Revelers will be invited to play Bike Night Bingo, learn about the latest products from local shops such as Angry Catfish and One on One, and strike a pose in the photobooth. There will be beer from Summit Brewery, and live music by country-blues rockers Crankshaft and the Gear Grinders, with the Current's David Campbell hosting the stage. The Hub Coop and Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition will also be on hand for bike tuneups and sharing info on safety and advocacy. Before the party kicks off, meet at Twin Six (716 W. 34th St., Minneapolis) around 5:30 p.m. (the social hour starts at 4:30 p.m.), as folks will be heading over to the museum via group ride.
