This Saturday, the Groundbreaker Battle Festival returns with free activities and performances celebrating hip-hop culture. The annual dance-off will feature 28 crews from around the nation, including Tulsa, Denver, Chicago, and Madison, as well as a youth group from Nicaragua. Troupes who earn a spot in the top three this weekend will have the opportunity to perform during B-Boy J-Sun's February show at the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts. During the day attendees will also be able to take in free workshops, help with interactive graffiti art creation, and more. Desdamona and Carnage will emcee the event.
