Ballet of the Dolls' artistic director Myron Johnson likes to keep folks guessing. The tantalizingly vague preview for his upcoming "Cabaret Nudista" describes a "celebración de la música y baile" (celebration of music and dance) from south of the border. Johnson creates his works at a fast and furious pace, so even he probably doesn't know what the heck will appear onstage until dress rehearsal (or maybe later). That's part of the freshness, charm, and theatrical savvy that makes a Johnson premiere an event. The mystery of the term "Nudista" will undoubtedly be revealed in a whole bunch of unexpected ways. Perhaps the biggest revelation is that Johnson will be dancing with his fab company. Expect un buen tiempo.
