No matter what pocket of the state you live in, there is something delicious brewing in your backyard. This Saturday, the fourth-annual Savor Minnesota festival will celebrate the great tastes of this fine state at Canterbury Park's clubhouse. The long list of vendors boasts many wineries, including the award-winning Cannon River, St. Croix Vineyards, and WineHaven vintners. There will also be craft breweries galore, such as Minneapolis's Fulton, Stillwater's Lift Bridge, and Third Street Brewhouse from Cold Spring. Artisans sharing their wares will cover Minnesota's four food groups — honey, dairy, dessert, and ranch dressing — with Bee Happy honey, Cedar Summit Farm, Groveland Confections, and Jimmy's Salad Dressings on hand. More substantial goodies will also be available from New French Bakery, Prairie Pride Farms (makers of tasty sausages; growers of fabulous chickens), and Ruhland's Strudel Haus, who bake savory pastries the size of your thigh. Attendees will not only be able to sample all the edibles and beverages, they will also receive a souvenir wine glass, reusable bag, and a booklet of coupons worth over $100 in discounts from participating vendors.
