In honor of Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion week, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts is throwing a glam party celebrating style. Hitting the catwalk will be vintage, thrift, and sustainable looks from Blacklist Vintage, Via's Vintage, b.resale, Rewind, Buffalo Exchange, Tatters Vintage Clothing, B-Squad Vintage, and others. A fashion photobooth from Two Birds will invite folks to try on vintage threads and pose for pics to commemorate the evening. Lovers of style may want to check out "Edo's Fashionistas," an exhibition showcasing wood-block prints from the 18th and 19th centuries that feature lovely ladies rocking kimonos, one of Japan's most iconic fashion statements. Vocal powerhouse Mayda will also perform.
