A couple of years ago, everyone's favorite ass-stapling, fire-breathing, death-defying Jackass alum decided to try his hand at standup. And it turns out he's pretty good at it. This week, Steve-O returns to the Twin Cities for four nights of extreme comedy at the Mall of America. His set is usually a hybrid of wildly personal stories (there is no such thing as "too much information" in Steve-O's world), jokes, and stunts. Steve-O has grown as a performer over the past several years, and his show has something for the whole family (as long as the family is all 18 or older, because this show is definitely for mature audiences only). When it comes to his signature stunts, you might think that his five years of sobriety, a new reality TV game show gig (Killer Karaoke), and a more positive outlook on life might have toned down some of the danger and insanity. It hasn't. "I like to put on the best show possible for people when they come see me, and I still love doing all the crazy stunts," he says. "Sobriety isn't changing that part of me. If you come out to the show, I guarantee you it's going to be wild, man." 18+; 21+ later shows.
