Zach Sobiech doesn't have a lot of time, so he's using it wisely. In 2009, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Lakeland was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a cancerous bone tumor, and the cancer has since spread to his internal organs. The acoustic "Clouds" is a song laying his struggle bare, and it has proven relatable and uplifting to the tune of more than two million YouTube views since December. His story has spread far enough, in fact, that BMI just inked a songwriting deal with him. To mark the release of his second album, Fix Me Up, Sobiech shall perform a rare gig at Varsity Theater with Kevin Bowe & the Okemah Prophets, former The Voice contestant Vicci Martinez, Apollo Cobra, Squares, and more. Proceeds will benefit the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund at Children's Cancer Research Fund. All ages.
