Styles for Smiles, an annual fundraiser for Project Healthy Smile, is back this weekend for an afternoon of fashion, shopping, pampering, and activities for the whole family. Hosted by Carly Aplin of the CW-Twin Cities, the celebration will feature a runway show with spring fashions from Kokoon, Local Motion, and Primp, plus mini makeovers and false-eyelash applications by Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios, wine and hors d'oeuvres, music, face painting, games, and an interactive photo booth. Project Healthy Smile, founded by Hollie Mae Schultz and Michelle Patterson, provides oral health education and dental supplies to underprivileged children around the world. Project Healthy Smile currently has programs set up in orphanages in Haiti, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Uganda. The funds raised at this year's Styles for Smiles will go toward upcoming missions to Haiti and East Africa, and will help sustain programs in other countries.
