The first Thursday of every month is Modern Radio Night at the Kitty Cat Klub, and the local label aims to re-create the edgy musical magic of Manchester's fabled club the Hacienda. Two wildly inventive local quartets, Leisure Birds (pictured) and Flavor Crystals, bring their expansive, pulsing sounds, with between-set and after-show music spun by Radio K's Chase Mathey and TRL.
