In the tradition of interactive comedy theater such as Tony n' Tina's Wedding comes an evening of food, music, drinks, and entertainment that encourages ladies to have a fun evening out...in their PJs. The Ultimate Pajama Party's creative producer, Sandy Hey of Hey City Theater, has previously helmed shows including Forever Plaid, Beehive, Smokey Joe's Café, and, yes, the long-running Tony n' Tina's Wedding. This production invites audiences to meet a cast of characters who sing and dance, and create a show partially based on their suggestions. In addition, the event includes an appetizer and dessert bar, and ends with a dance party with a live band. The Ultimate Pajama Party was started by local entrepreneur Tamara Hauser in 2008 as a one-night fundraiser. The piece has now been developed into a full theatrical production. Five percent of the ticket sales will benefit the Jeremiah Program. Sleepwear attire is recommended. Visit theultimatepajamaparty.com for tickets and more information.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 7 p.m.; Sundays, 3 p.m. Starts: Jan. 17. Continues through Feb. 20, 2013
