This weekend, dance arts typically performed on the street will take to the Cowles Center stage for two nights of explosive breakdancing, funkstyles, and more. Leading the way will be B-boy J-Sun and his crew. Groups will be exploring and reflecting on topics including anger, honesty, frustration, and how to bridge the gap between dance performed in theaters and dance performed on blacktop. The two winning teams from last summer's Groundbreaker Battle, Looney Tunes and Optimistic Crew, will once again battle it out, while Saltee will provide live music.
