Funny brothers Joseph and Joshua Scrimshaw don't team up all that often, as both have successful comedy troupes (Joking Envelope and Comedy Suitcase) and other projects (podcasts and books, for example) to keep them busy. So the chance to see the pair share the stage is a rare one indeed. Fortunately, each New Year's Eve the pair takes over the Bryant-Lake Bowl stage for a full evening of shows. For The Year in Denial, the Scrimshaws will be joined by a number of guests as they present a mixture of sketches, standup routines, and improv that will say goodbye (at long last) to 2012 and welcome in a year feared by triskaidekaphobics everywhere, 2013. The evening offers you the choice of an early celebration, allowing you to get to another party or home to bed in time for the New Year, or to celebrate the arrival of a new calendar (one without doomsday predictions) at the Bowl.
