There's just something about the holidays. Maybe it's all the extra food and alcohol we've been consuming over the past month, maybe it's the excessive amount of family time, maybe it's the rushed feeling we have now that the year is almost over and there's a scant amount of time to screw around before starting our New Year's resolutions in January. Whatever the reason, getting out on the dance floor is just what the doctor ordered. Look no further than Hipshaker, the monthly dance night featuring rare soul and funk, to let loose and sweat all your troubles away. For December's installment, DJs Greg Waletski and Brian Engel are doing not one but two nights of grooving fun. On Friday, December 28, special guests include George Rodriguez and Marcos Prado. Monday's New Year's Eve party will feature the Hotpants crew. What makes these upcoming events especially exciting is that the Kitty Cat Klub has removed the wall from the dance floor, which means there's even more room to shake your thing.
