This installment of Third Thursday will be a dinner party of sorts, though what the museum is celebrating is all over the map (in a good way). Folks are invited to check out "Anishinabe to Zapotec: Native Arts of the Americas," an exhibition featuring special-occasion jewelry, feast bowls, and decorated garments ranging from ancient eras to modern times. In the MAEP Galleries, guests will be able to learn a little bit more about its two ongoing exhibitions, Broc Blegen's "Coming Out Party" and Binod Shrestha's "Remnants and Rumination." People can also get into the holiday spirit with "Winterlights: Celebrating the Season," a museum-wide celebration. However, tonight's activities are especially in theme with the "Supper with Shakespeare: The Evolution of English Banqueting" show, and will include a Tudor-era recipe swap, performances from Cromulent Shakespeare Company, music from rockers L'Assassins, and a sampling of Shakespearean baked goods from Patisserie 46, Rustica, Cafe Latte, People's Organic Cafe, and French Meadow.
