Despite what televised Christmas specials tell us, Christmas Eve can be very stressful for folks who celebrate the holidays, whether they're stuck in an airport, frantically buying gifts and wrapping them, or shouting at family over dinner. Then there are the folks who get to treat this coming Monday and Tuesday like a gloriously random, extended weekend. For those looking to hang out in downtown Minneapolis this evening and not celebrate Christmas (or escape it for a bit), Jewbilee 2012 invites you to do just that. Standups taking the stage tonight include Laura Thorne; Pat Susmilch, the winner of Acme's Funniest Person in Minneapolis contest; self-professed "peanut-butter proponent" Dan Mogol; and host David Harris, who specializes in both magic and comedy.
