This weekend, Zenon Dance Company once again brings its yearly holiday offering, "The Nutcracker According to Mother Goose," to the stage. The popular production combines famous figures from nursery rhymes – such as Wee Willie Winkie, Mary Quite Contrary, Little Bo Peep, Jack Be Nimble – in a playful re-imagining of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. Though this piece is family friendly and known to delight the little ones, there is also a dash of silliness and a wink and nod for the grown-ups in the crowd as well. (Image by William Cameron)
