More About

Steven Epp, a 2011 City Pages Artist of the Year, returns to the Twin Cities for a run of Yale Repertory Theatre's The Servant of Two Masters at the Guthrie Theater. Epp made his mark in the area through his quarter-century with Theatre de la Jeune Lune. In the years since the company's demise, he has performed on a number of area stages, including at the Guthrie, with Ten Thousand Things, and the Jeune Lune offshoot, the Moving Co. In The Servant of Two Masters, Epp plays Truffaldino, who — as the title indicates — attempts to double his pay by serving in two households at once. The company includes Sarah Agnew, a Guthrie favorite and one-time Jeune Lune company member. The cast also features David Hanbury, Rany Reyes, and Liam Craig. Another former Jeune Luner and Guthrie company member, Christopher Bayes, directs. No performances on Christmas and New Year's Day. In previews through Thursday, December 6. Tuesdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 1 & 7 p.m. Starts: Dec. 4. Continues through Jan. 13, 2012
