They were never supposed to be viewed by the general public, but something about their lack of context makes them hilarious, endearing, and sometimes puzzling. Over the past decade, FOUND Magazine has been publishing love letters, shopping lists, napkin notes, and other random jottings, doodles, and bits discovered in trash bins, bus stops, and other public places. To celebrate its anniversary, editor (and frequent guest on This American Life) Davy Rothbart is hitting the road on a nationwide tour to share the funniest, most fascinating finds sent in by readers. He'll also be discussing his recently released collection of humorous essays, My Heart Is an Idiot. Peter Rothbart, dubbed FOUND's "international heartthrob," will also be on hand to jam out on tunes he has written based on some of the most strange and inspirational items posted.
