Now in its fifth installment, the Lutefisk Sushi series showcases Minnesota comic artists in epic collections released every year or so. Volume E features the work of 35 talents — including Dan Murphy, Lupi McGinty, Lonny Unitus, Caitlin Skaalrud, and Dan Olson — housed in a hand-silk-screened box designed by Zander Cannon (whose work can also be found inside). At the publication party and gallery show from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, November 2, guests will be able to pick up their very own bright-blue box set filled with mini-comics and check out original artwork while mingling with local cartoonists. There will also be an artists' discussion panel at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 17.
