Jawaahir specializes in performances that sizzle. The rhythmically charged dancing and music honors a variety of Middle Eastern styles and traditions, with some contemporary touches. "Sparkle, Too: Gems from Jawaahir" offers a chance to get up close and personal with the dancers in an intimate studio setting. Performing in Jawaahir's brand-new space will be current company members and apprentices, aided and abetted by special guest appearances by alumni and surprise guest artists.
