Squad19 is mostly known for its gig posters for rock shows. However, for "Fuel 2012" the south Minneapolis screenprint group will be taking inspiration from things that stimulate the tongue rather than the ear. So expect to get a little hungry looking at poster art at this show and charitable celebration, which will also highlight tasty, food-themed works from DWITT, Lon Unitus, Adam Turman, Kelly Munson, and others. Participating artists hope to draw attention to the issue of hunger in the U.S., and proceeds from sales will benefit Second Harvest Heartland. Canned and dried food will also be collected.
