Stimulating conversation is something that always pairs well with cocktails. History Happy Hour will provide both of these things this Thursday. Vintage bicycling is the topic of choice this evening at the Alexander Ramsey mansion. Here, members of the Wheelmen heritage cycling group will be on hand giving bike demos featuring their collection of bicycles of yesteryear, from big wheels to double-seaters. They'll be bringing photographs and other historical memorabilia highlighting the dawn of Minnesota cycle history, and will also lead a talk exploring the Twin Cities' rich history of bike racing, and the impact cycling had on women's rights. Reservations are required, so call ahead. Admission includes two drink tickets and snacks. 21+.
