Galleries and museums are rarely welcoming to pets, but during the opening party for "Bark at Art," pups and their owners will be invited to take in a little culture in an animal-friendly environment. The show will feature limited-edition posters from local and national artists who are inspired by their canine friends. Posters will be for sale, and unopened bags of pet food and kitty litter, as well as cash donations, will also be collected at the event, which serves as a benefit party for Pet Project of MN. The organization helps provide food, services, and care for pets when their owners are struggling financially. There will be an opening reception from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, August 3.
