More About

It's time to gear up for a night celebrating the best kind of transportation on two wheels. Third Thursday: Bike Night combines bicycles and art for a fun-filled party. Minnesota consistently rolls into the top slots in polls featuring bike-friendly cities around the nation, so there's at least one reason to leave the car in the garage this summer evening. Ride en masse with other Twin Cities cycle enthusiasts to the museum from a pre-pedal reception at Twin Six, and be sure to take advantage of the valet bike parking offered at the museum. Need some new wheels? Check out the sweet rides engineered by local bike-frame artists from A-Train, Appleman, Peacock Groove, Speedhound, Wyganowski Frames, and Vincent Dominguez Cycles. Jam out to local band Enemy Planes (formerly Pictures of Then), and watch the bike wizzes from the Hub Bike Co-op create amazing spin-powered bike art. Finally, guzzle down an ice-cold Summit and round up your friends before heading over to the Red Stag for its Nice Nite party in conjunction with Nice Ride MN.
