More About

This Saturday, the Beer Dabbler is doing it again: pairing up some of the tastiest craft beers with food trucks. Here, attendees can sip an unlimited amount of beer while sampling food-truck fare. Fifty breweries are participating, including local, regional, and national companies. They'll also be tapping the Dabbler's Oak Barrel Brew, a special one-time beer from Big Wood Brewery. Food trucks will include Hola Arepa, this year's Best Of winner for street food; Fork in the Road, queens of home-cooked fare; original street-eats mavens Chef Shack; and Stanley's on Wheels, newbies with the best looking cans on the road. In addition to cool brews, there will be plenty of entertainment, such as the Silent Disco, minnow races, and music from Little Man, the Japhies, and Apollo Cobra. But it's really about the beer, right? Attendees will be invited to vote for their favorite brewery, which will be awarded the Lord Dabbler's Cup. There's also the fourth annual Highland Fest Home Brew competition (entry is free with the price of a ticket). Tickets are available at the Ale Jail, Four Firkins, and Thomas Liquors, or online at BeerDabbler.com. The party rages on rain or shine. Visit www.thebeerdabbbler.com for more info. 21+.
