With the Fourth of July holiday falling on a Wednesday, we all have a mini-break in the middle of the week. Red, White, and Boom! will help folks kick off the one-day weekend with a special celebration on Tuesday night. Bring a blanket, some popcorn, and bug spray and arrive early to reserve a spot at this popular event. Americana folk rockers Romantica will jam out as the sun sets, then at dusk the venue will screen Captain America, a patriotic flick that's one of many prequels to this summer's Avengers. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase. The next day features live music, family activities, and other happenings leading up to the big fireworks show at locations including Father Hennepin Park, the Stone Arch Bridge, Water Power Park, and the West River Parkway.
