This weekend the most fabulous of all festivities, the 40th annual Twin Cities Pride Festival, will kick off with the biggest, sudsiest, meatiest Beer Dabbler to date. On Friday, a fleet of the best food trucks in the cities will be pairing with over 20 of the area's best breweries in Loring Park. For $35 attendees receive a commemorative Dabbler glass and the opportunity to sample as many beers as they can handle, in addition to entertainment featuring DJ Jake Rudh, Apollo Cobra, and more. Each truck will be preparing one dish for $3 to specifically pair with its beer partner (in addition to other menu offerings). The collaboration of trucks and breweries is inspired. Natedogs porky goodness in a bun will be paired with Summit, and it's likely those dogs will be topped with a little Summit-spiked mustard. Sameh Wadi's World Street Kitchen dishes will be a perfect match with the North Loop neighborhood favorite Fulton Brewery. The flavor-packed Surly brew is expertly partnered with one of the newer trucks, Neato's Burgers. With drive-in-style burgers and duck-fat-fried French fries taken for a leisurely dip in that garlic aioli, it's a taste bonanza. Hot food, cool brews, and killer tunes: What better way is there to kick off the most colorful, proud party of the year? Visit www.thebeerdabbler.com for more info. 21+.
