While the Twin Cities baseball and soccer teams tend to dominate summertime sports schedules, this weekend the Minnesota Rollergirls will be heating up some rivalries at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium. For Midsummer Melee, top Rollergirls will take on Chicago's Windy City Rollers for a quick-paced, potentially bloody battle on wheels. The halftime entertainment will be fierce as well, with live indie rock from Kubla Khan, and the black-eye photobooth will be back to offer mementos of fans looking busted (but tough). Folks looking to keep the celebration going after the game should head to O'Gara's Bar and Grill for the official after-party, where they can share a pint with the team.
