This Saturday, Cult Status Gallery will host its yearly group show featuring the work of a handful of talented ladies. And while the creative folks exhibiting in "Cult Sisters III Love/Hate" are all female, the gallery is quick to point out that the event isn't necessarily a women's art show. These people made the cut not because of their gender, but because they are awesome working artists. On display will be pieces by large-scale figurative artist J.M. Culver, lowbrow portrait artist Louisa Greenstock, underwater photographer Gina Louise, sculpture/mixed-media artist Kristen Arden, painter Kara Hendershot, and painter/gallery owner Erin Sayer. The opening reception Saturday, May 26, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. will feature music from DJ Danny Sigelman. Through June 9 by appointment (Pictured: Art by Louisa Greenstock)
