More About

For kids of the '80s, The Princess Bride is a flick that carries warm memories. Although the movie centers on a tale of vengeance, arranged marriage, plans of suicide, and the occasional poisoning, narrator Peter Falk and the fairytale cast managed to keep the tone less scary and more whimsically ridiculous. This weekend at the Bryant-Lake Bowl, local actors will take to the stage for a dramatic reading of the script that is sure to be filled with debauchery, Rocky Horror-style antics, and a healthy serving of beer. Inconceivable? Nope. Just be sure to get there early if you plan on playing, as last month's performance quickly sold out. (Photo by MattDente)
