Colin Kane wants to make his fans laugh all the time no matter where he is. "I'm on Facebook and Twitter a lot cracking jokes," he says. "I can't be all over the country, all over the world at the same time." But it's the live stage that is his raison d'être, especially when he can interact with the crowd. "I do have material, but there are times when I love to go up there and see what I can create in the room and feed off of people's energy." He finds those to be the best shows. "People in the audience really appreciate it if you can make them laugh in the moment like that, and it makes me feel alive." Described by Dennis Miller as "the next really big comedian," Kane is acerbic and takes all subjects head-on. "I talk about a lot of personal stuff," he says. "But the big topics for me are sex and women. I'm a single white guy, and I talk about that." While this is his first trip to the Midwest, he isn't worried about Minnesota audiences having a negative reaction to his East Coast sensibility. "Funny is funny," he states. Women, who he estimates make up about half of his audience, enjoy his brutal honesty, and few are offended by it. He credits that to the fact that his whole audience is smart enough to realize he's just making jokes. "Plus," he adds, "I have some really hot, attractive female fans." 18+.
