Oscar Night America

While the Oscars may be the most glamorous night in Hollywood, for us plebs it mostly involves sitting on a couch in front of the television with cocktails and popcorn. Thankfully, Oscar Night America will provide its yearly dose of cinematic glitter for Minnesotans who would like a little shine in their lives. Attendees are encouraged to put on their jewels, gowns, and bow ties, as the event opens with a red-carpet walk complete with photographers. Once inside, you'll be treated to appetizers from Thom Pham's Wondrous Azian Kitchen and a live screening of the big show. A candy and cash bar will sweeten any bitterness should your winners' list turn sour, and you could win big if you guess the leanings of the Academy correctly. Looking to feel like a star? VIP admission gets you a three-course dinner, open bar, a posh swag bag, and other amenities. All proceeds from the event benefit the Smile Network and the Target Distance Learning Program of the Cowles Center.
