This Friday and Saturday, folks will be able to practice their putt-putt skills in an unlikely location: downtown Minneapolis's skyway. The event, the Minneapolis Skyway Open, is two-day benefit for the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities, and will feature 19 whimsical holes built by local architects, designers, and others who were asked to draw creative inspiration from the theme "Minneapolis by Nature." Will there be miniature lakes, loons, and bike trails? Competitors will have to wait and see. Saturday's event is especially family friendly (and extra affordable), and includes cookie decorating, snacks, and temporary tattoos. Register at SkywayOpen.org.
