More About

It's the Year of the Dragon, so get ready for some scaly, fire-breathing fun at the Southern Theater. The Dragons are Singing Tonight is presented by TigerLion Arts, in collaboration with the Minnesota Boychoir, Puppet Farm Arts, and Circus Juventas, and is sure to be a magical experience for kids as well as adults. The piece, based on the whimsical book of poems by United States children's poet laureate Jack Prelutsky, with music by Laurie MacGregor, is chock-full of puppets of all shapes and sizes and aerial arts that bring the dragons to life. The production features performers Isabella Dawis, Tyson Forbes, Maxwell Chonk Thao, and Elise Langer, and is directed by Markell Kiefer. The spectacle should have you believing in dragons by the end of it.
