Last seen on the ice in 2010, the Art Shanty Project will make its triumphant return to Medicine Lake this winter. Artists, performers, fashion designers, and others have built their own fishing shacks, and will invite visitors inside each weekend for unique, creative, entertaining, and educational experiences. Hitting the ice in 2012 will be the Naughty Shanty, where guests can play games, have their fortunes told, and peep through holes to view silly scenes; the Basketball Shanty, where folks can take to the court, listen to pep talks, or hold a trophy in the heated locker room; and the Sashay Shantay Shanty, featuring on-ice fashion shows, fun items to try on, and a photo booth to capture any high-fashion moments.
