Lizz Winstead's acerbic year-in-review show at the Parkway Theater is becoming an annual tradition, with the writer, comedian, and Daily Show creator breaking down the political upheavals and upsets of the past 12 months—which she says have proven particularly fertile. "I never in a million years thought [we] would top 2010, with Christine O'Donnell and the midterm elections ... but this is like an embarrassment how much there is to talk about. You can't talk about every douchey thing Herman Cain says because you have to talk about the newest douchey thing Herman Cain said. People may have to occupy the Parkway to hear it all." Winstead will be joined by friend and regular collaborator Sean Crespo, and the evening will be hosted by New York-based Twitter wizard Sam Grittner, a native Twin Cities comic. The toughest part of compressing a year's worth of American politics into one show: "Prioritizing the dipshittery," Winstead says.
