Kwanzaa Family Day

This Monday at the Minnesota History Center, folks will be enjoying the first day of Kwanzaa. A seven-day event, the celebration will fittingly honor umoja (unity). So spend a day with the family enjoying African and African-American history and traditions. During the happening, guests can listen to West African drumming and storytelling, and witness opening and closing ceremonies. There will also be art activities, live music, dancing, performances, and cooking demonstrations to get you revved up for great food for the rest of the holiday season.
