As a setting for a literary reading, no location in town is quite as posh as the University Club of Saint Paul. Each month, the venue hosts Readings by Writers, an hour-long series featuring established and up-and-coming Twin Cities writers hosted by St. Paul's poet laureate, Carol Connolly. This installment will be holiday themed, and will include readings by authors Jill Breckenridge, Tom Cassidy, Laurie Hertzel, N.M. Kelby, Dennis Kelly, Klecko, Sarah Stonich, and David Unowsky. The bar will be serving drinks throughout the evening, so tonight's event should be a perfect time to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in some lit that celebrates the season.
