As the weather gets colder, it may be tempting to hibernate in your home with a mug of whiskey. However, most Minnesotans are hearty enough to be lured outdoors with the promise of a stiff drink and a good party. The St. Paul Santa Crawl is obviously one of those happenings. So put on your toastiest (and ugliest) holiday sweater, bust out that Santa suit, or dig up that old dreidel costume and head on over to this all-night pub party sure to spark some seasonal spirit in that cold, coal heart of yours. Participating bars include Billy's on Grand, Eagle Street Grille, Groveland Tap, O'Gara's, Plum's Bar, Shamrock's, and Tiff's, with the relatively new Amsterdam Bar serving as will-call for folks who need to pick up their tickets. Revelers are encouraged to walk or hop on Santa's sleigh (a.k.a. a party bus) between bars. Planned shenanigans include live bands, "carol-oke," and live reindeer.
