"I talk a lot about relationships these days," says comedian Reese Waters, "and I didn't have a relationship/dating joke until about two or three years ago, which is almost eight years in comedy. I just didn't find it funny; I found it brutal and depressing." Waters actually covers a wide variety of topics in his set, including pop culture, current events, the economy, and even sports. One might call him the USA Today of comedy. "Hopefully I'm a little deeper than USA Today," he laughs. A former economics major at Columbia, Waters quickly abandoned that course of study in favor of broadcasting. Hoping to start a career behind the camera, he tried a standup night sponsored by the TV station he was working for. "The guys auditioning were so bad. I thought, 'There's no way I could be worse.'" From there, Waters quickly made a name for himself, winning Caroline's Comedy Competition. Since then, he's had several appearances on MTV, Good Morning America, and Comedy Central. 18+.
