More About

While Lowertown St. Paul is usually bustling with recreational activity during happenings like the farmers' market, Lowertown First Fridays, and seasonal pub crawls, the creative folks in artist lofts and nearby studios are hard at work. This month and next you can see what some of them have been up to at AZ Gallery's "First Annual Lowertown Art Show." Participants include glass artist Julie Keller, painter Tom McGregor, and photographers Brian Hartz and Tom Reynen. The ongoing exhibit, which features pieces from 45 different artists in the area, will have a juried artists' reception from 7 to 10 p.m. this Saturday, December 10. Guests will be able to vote on their favorite works while listening to live music and sipping drinks from a cash bar. (Brian Hartz,Snow at Old Faithful Geyser Basin)
