Grab a little piece of Hoboken on Hennepin Avenue as Buddy Valastro, better known as the star of TLC's Cake Boss, takes to the stage to talk turkey about his wacky Italian clan and his new book, Baking with the Cake Boss: 100 of Buddy's Best Recipes and Decorating Secrets. The head of the famous Carlo's Bakery will even demonstrate some of the techniques that landed his intricate designs and tasty treats on the lips of the cake cognoscenti. As a fourth-generation baker who learned the tricks of the trade from his father, he's hung with Oprah, been featured in the the New York Times, and now is headlining his own tour. Perhaps it's a ploy to get us jazzed for more pastry-based reality, but what cake fiend can turn down such a sweet night?
