This may be one of the only Oktoberfest-type events in town that doesn't involve beer, but that doesn't mean it isn't going to be a lot of fun. On Saturday, folks are invited to participate in a climbing competition open to people of all skill levels, age, and experience. This will be the largest competition of its kind, and over 100 climbers are expected to attempt to scale one of five walls. Kids are also welcome to participate. Are you looking to get into climbing, but not interested in trekking to St. Paul? Be sure to inquire about the Vertical Endeavors that will be opening in Minneapolis mid-November.
