Kristin Van Loon, who curates dance programming for Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater, has scheduled some real gems this fall. One is an evening of solos adapted from the choreography of Deborah Hay. She was once a member of the '60s post-modern movement group Judson Dance Theater, and remains an iconic choreographer whose enigmatic solos are captivatingly relevant. See for yourself this weekend when Karen Schaffman and Eric Geiger of Performance Art Dance Laboratory (PADL) West, from San Diego, dance their explorations of Hay's work.
