The folks who run Mighty Swell sometimes refer to it as an "occasional boutique," meaning it's only open for business on very special occasions. The now notoriously fabulous event/store was once an online project shared between thrift and vintage enthusiasts Meghan McAndrews and Rae Danneman. Eventually, things snowballed into a nomadic pop-up shop, and eventually the still-temporary store found a permanent space. This weekend, its doors will open to celebrate its one-year anniversary. Throughout the day guests will be able to shop for clothing, accessories, and household items. New pieces will be rotated into the sales floor on both days, and there will be an expanded selection of menswear.
