Religious imagery, traditional tattoo art, and fanged animals are elements and ideas found in "Sons of Northern Darkness," a gallery show featuring work by friends (and MPLS DETH CREW co-founders) Nate Vincent Szklarski and Chris Krapohl. Expect to find pieces depicting feral foxes, bleeding hearts, and gypsy skulls exploding in neon colors at the latest exhibition at the Cult State Gallery. In addition to paintings created using India ink and watercolor, there will be sculptural elements on display, including an eight-foot-tall illuminated cross.
