An afternoon in the park is always a fun excursion, but a party in a park is even better. This Saturday, mnartsts will be taking one of its famed field trips to Silverwood Park for a day filled with fun, artsy activities. If you miss summer camp this is an excellent opportunity to reminisce as you play games like capture the flag, bocce ball, badminton, and other P.E. favorites. Or head on over to the beach for free canoe paddling. If you're feeling a little crafty, partake in an art-making activity. Throughout the event guests will also be able to explore various areas of the park where there will be art and poetry installations. Other happenings include square dancing, fort building, and live music by the campfire in the evening. Food will be available for purchase from the Magic Bus and the Silverwood Park Café.
