This Sunday, cyclists will hit the paths of the Grand Rounds Byway System, taking in lovely views of Minneapolis. Choose from the shorter, 14-mile course that winds around Lake of the Isles, Lake Harriet, and Lake Calhoun, or take on the longer, 36-mile route, which covers the entire system, as well as Minnehaha Creek and the Mississippi River. Both rides are family-friendly, and will be gloriously free of car traffic. Afterward, spend a little time in Parade Park enjoying live music, beer from New Belgium, food, and other treats.
