"I like to keep my act all over the place," says comedian Ben Glieb. "I talk about random things in my life. I try to look at the world in a more skewed way. I've realized lately that life is how you perceive it. That's affecting my writing a lot." He has also been trying to look at things—even things he's talked about in the past—from new and different angles. "Do you let your woman spoon you? That kind of creates an existential question that goes to the very core of a man's masculinity," he asks. Most men would probably answer "no," reasons Glieb, but he has a different take on the question. "Hell yes, you should. It's like she's riding on the back of a motorcycle right into to your dreams. If she falls off, she's already in bed, which is the softest place you could land." While he's been delving more deeply into some subjects, he's found that Twitter has provided the opposite platform. "It tends to make you think in much shorter chunks, and you also have this continuous audience for your comedy right at your fingertips. So maybe that's making me lazy," he laughs.
