As a solo artist and as a member of Sounds of Blackness, Coré Cotton has recorded a string of well-received albums and songs. For Timeless: My Journey, My Song, she turns to her own personal journey. In it, the singer traces her singular dream of creating unique music and practicing law. The Little Rock native first came to prominence with Sounds of Blackness, singing lead vocals on "Optimistic" from the ensemble's Grammy-winning debut. Since then, she has performed around the world with the group and as a solo artist, shared the stage with the likes of Patty LaBelle and Luther Vandross, and recorded with Janet Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Sting. For her show, Coré will be joined by her siblings, the Sisters Cotton. The evening is directed by Jennifer L.J. Witlock and features musical direction by Sam Reeves.
